You girls are the BEST. I love reading all your comments,you girls say the most wonderful things and you make me feel so good! Zoe has been great,tomorrow is her first check up so we'll see how much she weighs now. As for me,I feel amazing,my body is healing fast and I love being a Mom. I had to have a c-section because my water ruptured and I was like that at home for two days so when I finally went to the ER to get it checked,they told me they were keeping me because Zoe was going to come either that night or the next day. They put me on antibiotics for an infection I had and they gave me something to get the labor going (pitocin). Well,come 4 am and I'm in pain and when they check me they realize I hadn't dilated any. I knew I was gonna be in pain all day because I had been at 1cm dilated for a few weeks and nothing changed,so I got the epidural. They also had to break the rest of my water bag and that made me dilate some. The epidural wore off 3 TIMES. The anesthesiologist had to keep giving me some more medicine. I'd go from being numb to feeling all my contractions and moving my legs to being numb again. And to top it off,the baby's heart rate kept dropping so they would take me off the pitocin. After a while I started getting this pain in my legs and groin area and they didn't know where it was coming from and then the baby's heart rate really dropped so they decided a c-section would be the best thing to do. I got really scared and nervous and I could tell Damian was too. I was shaking uncontrollably and they even covered me with warm blankets but it didn't help. The surgery went by faster than I thought. One scary thing though...the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck TWICE. My Doctor said she was smart enough not to come out vaginally cause that could have hurt her. My baby knew what she was doing,I can picture her holding on to the walls of my stomach to stop herself from coming out.lol . When I heard my daughter crying for the first time an intense emotion that I've never felt came over me. It was UNREAL. My boyfriend came up to me and gave me a kiss and said I did great <3 then they brought Zoe over and all I could do was cry and give her kisses. It's a pretty amazing feeling to be a Mother.

Hi Girls! Guess who decided to bless us with her presence! Zoe!! Isn't she adorable? I spent the last  4 days in the hospital and I really need to get back to resting,they took out my STAPLES today. As much as my body hurts,I'd do it all again for this amazing little girl. I'm so in love with her I could cry. I really miss talking to you guys and I can't wait to hear from you but right now I gotta let my body rest and spend some quality time with the little one. I'll be back SOON. Hope you girls are doing great!

Zoe's crib

We finally finished Zoe's crib. We have yet to put away all the things we got from her shower but hey,you gotta start somewhere! I had another appointment today and now they suggested I start walking more. I think they need to make up their minds! But on monday I'll be 37 weeks and that's considered full term so I plan on doing LOTS of walking. A few girls suggested doing the nasty but does that really work? haha just asking! It's so weird knowing she can come at any time. I look at her crib and it's hard to picture having a baby in there. I'm so excited to see who she looks like!!

Hey!

So yesterday was my baby shower. It went very well and I got pretty much everything I need! Lucky me. The theme was pink and brown and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Not many of the pictures came out too good so I posted the ones that did =/
My Mother  is the woman in the purple shirt and she made sure I really didn't do much and that I was happy and relaxed. I love my Mom!! For the prizes I gave out some pretty nice stuff if I do say so myself,I posted a pic of the elf eyeshadows that I wanted to keep.lol. My godmother made the cake,I think it was very sweet of her seeing as how we hadn't spoken in 8 years. (too much moving on my part) I am now 36 weeks and everyone is saying I'm going to have Zoe soon. I have been feeling better since being released from the hospital though. I do try to relax as much as possible but at the same time I try to get everything ready for the baby. Sometimes at night I feel as though I'm forgetting something and I can't sleep after that. Although I know I should get as much sleep as possible because once Zoe is here....bye bye sleep! But one good thing I can report,I'm losing weight..which they said is normal. I really hope I lose as much baby weight as possible. I miss my clothes!!

Baby Shower!

Hello Hello!


Sorry for the lack of posts,but I was in the hospital for the last few days. What started out as a bladder infection ( common in pregnancies) turned into a kidney infection. It was pretty painful. Well....when I was there the first day they had me attached to this machine to keep an eye on Zoe and the nurse turns to me and asks if I have any pain in my uterus and I'm like no and she says,well you're having contractions! Crazy! So they end up keeping me there,gave me a shot to stop the contractions and kept me monitored all night. The next day,same thing..I kept having contractions but didn't feel them. This time they gave me TWO shots and some pills to stop them. On the third morning before they released me they checked me and turns out,I'm dilated at 1cm!!!! Holy cow! So I can't do much,they don't want me going into labor before 36 weeks..which I'll be on monday. I'm pretty scared and nervous now,lol. I am still having my baby shower on sunday and I know my Mom is thinking Zoe is gonna pop out then but as long as I take it easy,I'll be fine. I gotta go lay back down,just wanted to let you girls I miss talking to you and maybe next time I log in,I'll have a pic of Zoe!!!

34 weeks

I'm almost 35 weeks...come monday. I was thrown a surprise baby shower by my boyfriends mother today so that was pretty sweet. I didn't get to take that many pictures because I was the one handing out the games,timing them,etc. I'm so tired now but I made sure to come home and take a picture of my watermelon a.k.a belly to show you girls =)

PICKLES!! They are something that I have loved since childhood. I crave them ALL the time,not just during my pregnancy. If I get a burger,you better believe it has extra pickles in it! I always have to have pickles in the house. When at the movies,I get the hot pickles...so DELICIOUS. haha enough about pickles. Oh yeah..if you ever wanna get me some,make sure they're kosher dill. =)
