Zoe Update

I'm a few days late with this post,but I haven't been feeling too well,Zoe is also sick...she woke me up by throwing up on me. ahhh,the life of a mother. Zoe turned 9 months on the 23rd! Here are a few new things:



She's taking steps!!!!!!!!!! I'm so proud of her! I noticed she walks when we aren't paying attention. I have yet to catch her walking on camera,but I keep it close by...just in case.

She walks along everything..the couches,the walls..the cabinets. Anything she can hold onto.


She is holding her own bottles,sippy cups..she picks things up with her finger and she feeds herself.

She weighs 21 lbs and is 28 inches long. She fits into size 12 mo. clothes!

 And just the other day she learned how to stand on her own,without the help of anyone or anything! She's also learning how to say "Bye". As you can tell,it's a very exciting time right now. I'm enjoying it all.. the good,the bad and the smelly =)

Hello Kitty? Yes Please!

This past Friday My little family took a trip to Tucson to visit my Boyfriend's great Uncle for an early Father's Day lunch. I didn't take too many pics (boo) but we did go shopping and I just had to share what I bought AND I have a little announcement to make =)

We are both Yaqui Indians but only his family lives on the Reservation.

              

              There was a lot of artwork around the Rez.

Of course I took advantage of BBW's sale! I got more things,but I gave them to my Mom and nieces. <3

    Me & My Ice Cream is so far my favorite of the 3.

The wand is  a little weird to me but for 2.99 I can't complain too much.

5 Top Favorite Lip Products

I've been slacking with the posts so I decided to do a "Fav" one about my (Pink)lip products. You girls already know that's my comfort zone. I spend soooo much time at the store looking at other colors but I chicken out and grab a pink lipstick/gloss. One day I will grab a different color. One day.

I use Partial to Pink the most. Petting Pink was too pretty and I took forever to use open it and use it. I love it though!

Now..I would really appreciate any recommendations for other lip colors...like a lighter pink or a brighter one with blue undertones. (that's what I read is good for my skin tone) Anywho,if you have one,PLEASE let me know and I'll try it out. My boyfriend won't look at anything I buy because he tried getting me to buy Pink Friday but I said No and that was it. No more input from him.  =/ I'm going to Ulta this week and would love your opinions!

This is my latest haul. I bought the NYX products when they were having that huge failed sale. I got a code for 50% the next day and decided to try out their stuff. I LOVE the blush and lipstick and I am still kicking myself for not buying more! I'm trying to buy colors other than pink,but that seems to be the only one that goes with my skin tone. Any suggestions on what other colors to buy? Help! Thank you!

Trying New Things....

Since I started following beauty bloggers I have had the urge to switch up my makeup looks. I am a very "natural" kind of girl and I feel weird with anything other than lipgloss and mascara on. But I wanted to step out of that box and take a risk. This past week we went to a graduation party and I wore (for the first time) blush and my new lipstick. I felt very awkward,like I had got gangbanged by crayola. But I realized that if I didn't walk around with confidence,the people around me would sense something was up and my night would be ruined. By the time I got home that night,I felt different,all because I tried something new and liked it. So while I am trying new things,I know to take it one step at a time.
